Mobile Phone Unlocking

Here at Gadgets Fix we have a dedicated mobile phone unlocking team.

Most mobile phones can be unlocked while you wait, however some take slightly longer.

Apple

We are able to unlock any version of the Apple iPhone.

The iPhone 2g, 3g & 3gs are able to be software unlocked and jailbroken or factory unlocked.

iPhone 4 and 4s be factory unlocked.

The software unlock method of unlocking your iPhone is a semi permenant method. The procedure requires you to leave your phone with us for approximately thirty minutes. Your mobile phone will also be jailbroken during this time.  We call this unlock a semi permenant method because if you update your mobile phones software you will loose the unlock.

The Factory unlock method for unlocking your Apple iPhone is a permenant method. It is also Apple’s official unlocking method. Once we apply this factory unlock your IMEI number is added to Apple’s IMEI Whitelist. Any time your phone is updated or restored in iTunes it checks this whitelist then when it sees the iPhones IMEI the iphone unlocks it self.

Nokia

There are currently two different unlocking services available. the first method is the classic via cable unlocking method which is available to older model nokia phones such as the Nokia 95-8gb.

The second newer method is whats know as the bruteforce method. This type of unlocking is capable of unlocking even newer Nokia mobile phones such as Nokia N8, N97 etc. This method requires you to leave the mobile phone with us for approximately one hour. During the hour you leave your phone we read your mobiles unique code information, which alllows us to bruteforce the NCK unlocking code from the unique information. This service can take up to three days. to complete

RIM Blackberry

We are currently able to factory unlock any Blackberry mobile phone.

Our Blackberry unlock service only uses codes directly from Research In Motion’s Headquaters. We are able to unlock any Blackberry handset while you wait.

HTC

We are currently able to unlock any HTC phone via IMEI number. We are able to get your unlocking code within one hour.

Samsung

We are currently able to unlock any Samsung phone via IMEI number. We are able to get your unlocking code within one hour. This is an upto date service and even includes newly released mobile phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S 3.

Checkmend Service

Gadgets Fix also are fully compliant with the Checkmend service, which checks the national mobile phone database used by the mobile phone networks and also by the Police to check for equipment that has been reported lost/stolen. If you buy an second hand mobile phone and it stops making or recieving calls or text’s it could be that the phone has been reported by the previous user, this service is the best way to check this. We offer competative rates for using the Checkmend service.
