One factor which is very important with liquid damage is time the amount of time taken to get your device looked at. The sooner you are able to get your phone in to be looked at the higher the chances of its survival. When any Device comes into contact with liquid it starts a chain reaction.  The power supplied by the battery arcs across all the devices components causing oxidization to occur, over a short period of time this can develop into a rust type substance. It is very important that where ever possible to remove your devices battery, if your device has a non removable battery; such as an Apple iPhone or Apple iPad it is of paramount importance to get this device to us as quickly as possible.

Liquid damage cleaning prices start at fifty pounds. Which comprises of a non refundable inspection fee of twenty five pounds and if the device is successfully repaired without any parts being used a final payment of twenty five pounds to be payable on collection of the device.

Liquid damage cleaning procedures can take up to three working days but are usually completed a lot quicker (subject to the availability of parts) due to the time sensitiveness of the repair.

Below are a few examples of Apple iPhone repairs when parts are required:

  1. Apple iPhone 4 which after being successfully liquid damaged is unable to take charge from a charger would require a new charging dock. This repair would be eighty five pounds in total, fifty pounds for the liquid damage cleaning and thirty five pounds for the charging dock connector.
  2. Apple iPhone 4 which after being successfully liquid damaged is unable to hold charge when an charger is plugged in would require a new battery. This repair would be eighty five pounds in total, fifty pounds for the liquid damage cleaning and thirty five pounds for the battery.
  3. Apple iPhone 3GS which after being successfully liquid damaged has no backlight on the screen this repair would require a new 6R8 backlight coil. The repair would be seventy five pounds in total, fifty pounds for the liquid damage cleaning and twenty five pounds for the 6R8 Coil.
